I noticed the other day that I keep up with my movie watching quite well, usually a couple months behind because I wait till they hit the cheap theatre to watch them. Of the ones I do watch, I hope to put up here with a little rating of how I liked it, and some reasons why I liked them or not.

I'm usually quite optomistic about movies, so I give them a rating higher than most, so if you see me not like it, then it probably really sucked.
First off, my recent favorites, ones I'd surely recommend

American Beauty- Great plots, great acting, plot twists, character twists, there is not one main character that stays static throughout the show. Good humour throughout, especially at the beginning. Overall a great movie, can see how it did so well at the Golden Globes

10 Things I Hate About You- I know what you are thinking, stupid date movie based on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, but I did like it. I've seen it twice and will watch it again.
